Laguna Phuket Golf Club

Phuket Country Club

Featuring an 18-hole Old Course and a 9-hole Country Club Course, Phuket Country Club is situated in the center of the island and easily accessible from various parts of the island.  The Old Course is divided into three distinct environments -six holes in undulating hills, six holes on the level and six holes through landscaped forests.

Situated as it is in the center of the island, those looking for a place to stay nearby should be looking for rentals in Kathu or, even Phuket Town or Patong.

Loch Palm Golf Club

Also situated in Kathu is the Loch Palm golf course – an 18-hole, par 72 course that meanders through palm tree-lined fairways and around Crystal Lake – the largest lake on any golf course in Phuket.

Suited to golfers of all levels, the course is about 7km away from Phuket Town and about 15km from Patong, two areas – in addition to Kathu itself – that renters should be looking if they wish to stay nearby.

Red Mountain Golf Club

A sister course of the Loch Palm, the Red Mountain proves to be a more challenging course as it winds its way through a dramatic 1,400 rai site which once was a tin mine.  The course has been cleverly routed to take advantage of a huge variety of landforms and dizzying elevation changes. Scars left from the tin mine era have been imaginatively incorporated into the overall scheme, giving the course a unique character.

As with Phuket Country Club and its sister course Loch Palm, renters would be best suited looking for a place to stay in Kathu.

Mission Hills Golf Resort

Last but definitely not least on our list of Phuket golf courses is a relatively new addition: Mission Hills Golf Resort.  The Mission Hills course is situated on the east coast of Phuket in Pa Klok, not far from Cape Yamu and Ao Po.  Apart from great golf, this 18-hole, par 72 course offers stunning scenery as part of the package with several holes situated right along the sea shore.

Apart from the Mission Hills resort itself, renters should be looking to the Pa Klok, Ao Po and Cape Yamu areas for rentals that are nearby.
